Sports in exile

Doha: Expatriates are eager to participate in the National Sports Day. Organizations are also active with various sports competitions.

The non-residents also participate with the natives with the same mind and enthusiasm. Sports tournaments and fairs led by expatriate groups, companies and institutions will be active from morning onwards. The march will be lined with past and tableaus.

Competitions for those with special care needs

Malarwadi Balasangham Ryan Zone sports competitions for special needs will be held at Loydan’s Academy, Azizi from 2 pm onwards. All persons with disabilities residing in Qatar are eligible to participate. Just need to register in advance.

Prizes, mementos and certificates will be awarded to all participants and winners will be selected through a draw from the participants. Santiniketan Indian School Vice Principal Dr. Salil Hassan will interact with the children and their parents.
