In the morning weather bulletin, the Meteorological Department of Lebanon expected that stable weather would prevail, starting from noon on Friday, with temperatures above their average levels at the end of the week and almost stable until the end of next week. She noted that the average temperature on the coast for the month of February is between 11 and 19 degrees Celsius.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Friday: Partly cloudy in the morning, becoming cloudy in the afternoon without a significant change in temperatures on the coast and a slight rise in the mountains and in the interior, which remain below their seasonal rates, and the risk of ice formation on mountain roads above 1200 m during the night and early morning hours remains. We warn of the danger of slipping cars.
Saturday: few clouds with a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially on the mountains and the interior, with the risk of snow formation on the mountain and internal roads during the early morning and night hours, starting from an altitude of 1400 meters.
Sunday: A few clouds, an additional rise in temperatures, which are higher than their seasonal rates, and a decrease in the percentage of humidity.
Monday: Partly cloudy with a significant drop in temperatures, especially on the mountains and the interior, and the possibility of light rain in the north of the country and fog on the heights.
