In early August, LG launched the world’s first wireless OLED TV and, as the South Korean company never tires of innovating its products, it has now launched the new StanbyMe GO TV. The smart TV has a creative briefcase design, allowing it to be taken anywhere with enough battery life to watch a 3-hour movie.

StanbyMe Go was announced in South Korea in early June, but has only just hit the international market. The model has a 27-inch LCD touch screen, Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and 60Hz compatible with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for the sound system with 4 20W speakers.

The big differential of the TV is its format, as it is integrated into a case with military MIL-STD-810H resistance certification against water and high temperatures, being ideal for outdoor use. The weight of the kit with the internal battery is 12.7 kg with dimensions of 670 x 433 x 119 mm.

There is even a mechanism that turns the TV on automatically when the case is opened and turns it off when closed. The screen can be used lying down to play games, in vertical or horizontal mode to watch movies and series thanks to an articulated arm.

Finally, the TV also has WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, AirPlay, screen sharing via Android and iOS.

price and availability

The new StanbyME Go is already available in the United States for US$ 999, about R$ 4,900 in direct conversion, and the first deliveries are scheduled for the end of August. Those who purchase the TV during the launch period will receive a Bluetooth Xboom 360 speaker.
