Climbing the ARIA Albums Chart With GODBREATH

Sydney rock band Stand Atlantic has officially reached the top of the Australian national albums tally. Distributed via Virgin Music Group, their latest release GODBREATH also finished the tracking week as the country’s best-selling vinyl record. This achievement follows a steady upward trajectory for the group on the ARIA Albums Chart, building on three previous top 30 appearances: Pink Elephant at No. 23 in 2020, F.E.A.R. at No. 10 in 2022, and Was Here at No. 3 in 2024.

Led by vocalist and guitarist Bonnie Fraser, the band shared a statement following the chart announcement: “Only gone n bloody done it.. GODBREATH is the No. 1 Album in Australia!! Thank u for supporting us and Australian music!! Happy GODBREATH week to u all this is cool af and only possible bc of all of u, thank u thank u thank u.”

The chart-topping success arrives as Stand Atlantic balances an aggressive international and domestic touring schedule. The band recently completed a string of U.K. dates supporting Simple Plan and is currently playing local dates across Australia. Afterward, they will head to the United States to perform at Vans Warped Tour Orlando and a tour with Story of the Year and Silverstein.

GODBREATH stands as the fourth homegrown album to lead the ARIA chart in 2026, following successful chart runs by Karnivool, DMA’s, and Angus & Julia Stone. The album is one of three ARIA top 10 debutants on the chart published on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.

New Entries From Dan Sultan, Boo Seeka, and Lisa

Alongside Stand Atlantic at the summit, other notable Australian acts made significant moves on the national tally. Five-time ARIA Award winner Dan Sultan debuted at No. 5 with Little Miracles, marking his five top 50 results including three top 10s. Meanwhile, Ben “Boo” Gumbleton’s electropop project Boo Seeka landed at No. 10 with Cigarettes On Sundown. Gumbleton previously reached No. 8 with his 2017 debut album, Never Too Soon.
