Information of the population is a priority – Ministry of the Interior rejects ORF subordination
Vienna (OTS) – The Ministry of the Interior and its subordinate departments always inform the population quickly, transparently and comprehensively about cases in the public interest in accordance with the respective official requirements.
An allegedly planned attack on the Pride parade in Vienna is one such case. It is completely irrelevant for the security authorities whether attack plans by the Islamist, right-wing, left-wing, anti-government scene or whatever form of extremism are affected. The only guide is the safety of the people of our country.
The assumption made in the analysis of today’s ORF program “Zeit im Bild 1” that the Ministry of the Interior would “measure here with double standards” is vehemently rejected and excluded.
