Stellantis Introduces the Topolino: A Stylish and Fast 2-Seater for Urban Mobility

2023-06-01 07:00:00

Opel Rocks-e and Citroën Ami – and soon also Fiat. With the Topolino, another Stellantis subsidiary has now presented a 45 km/h fast two-seater with electric drive for urban mobility. The microcar for driving license class AM (from 15 years) is technically identical to the other two models, but stands out from them with a good dash of “Dolce Vita”. The study of the light vehicle shows an open variant in the style of earlier beach and recreational vehicles with ropes instead of doors. It remains to be seen what will be carried over into the series.

The type designation ties in with the small Topolino (“little mouse”) built from the mid-1930s to the mid-1950s, the first Fiat 500, which made a significant contribution to mass motorisation in Italy. (awm)
