As for the weaker performer at the end of the day’s trading, shares closed Boeing Co (NYSE:) down by 3.95%, or 7.75 points, to trade at 188.25 levels at the close. Shares of Intel Group (NASDAQ:) declined by 3.21%, or 0.86 points, to end at 25.97, while Microsoft Group shares (NASDAQ:) closed down by 2.55%, or 6.24 points, to 238.19.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by FedEx Corp. (NYSE:) stock, which rose by 3.35% at a price of 175.69. VF Corp. (NYSE:) also continued its rise by 2.95% and closed at levels 26.21, as well as Warner Bros Discovery Inc (NASDAQ:) rose by 2.10% and ended its trading at a price of 9.23.
Among the stocks that performed the worst today, we mention the stock of Tesla Company (NASDAQ:), which fell by 8.88%, and closed its session at a price of 125.35, a share. Lam Research Corp (NASDAQ:), which lost 8.65% at a price of 409.11, and Applied Materials Company (NASDAQ:), which weakened by 7.84% and closed at a price of 97.60 in today’s session on the stock exchange.
On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by shares IsoPlexis Corp (NASDAQ:), which rose 102.87%, at 1.40, E-Home Household Service Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 91.76% and closed at 1.35 levels, as well as the stock Core Scientific Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 72.94% and ended its trading at a price of 0.09.
Among the stocks that underperformed today, we mention Akso Health Group DRC (NASDAQ:), which maintained its value by 0.00% and closed its session at a price of 0.39, and Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:), which lost 40.75% at a price of 14.86 shares Pacific Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:), which weakened by 35.06% and closed at 1.13 for the day’s session on the exchange.
The number of declining shares exceeded the number of shares that closed higher in trading on the New York Stock Exchange with 2345 compared to 734, while 105 remained unchanged.
