Stocker: “SPÖ resolutions should be understood as an invitation to more illegal migration”

The migration line decided by the SPÖ at its party conference would make Austria an asylum magnet

Vienna (OTS) “Yesterday’s majority and sometimes even unanimous decisions at the SPÖ party conference should be understood as an invitation to more illegal migration. In recent weeks there have been numerous warnings once morest turning these left-wing plans into party doctrine. But the SPÖ is probably the most learning-resistant party in Austria – because apparently neither the year 2015 nor the year 2022 led to any measurable learning effect in the SPÖ. Security is the last priority in the SPÖ if the social democrats are prepared to sacrifice the protection of the people in the country for their left-wing course in migration policy. Andreas Babler’s communist manifesto benefits exactly one group of people – namely those who only leave their country for economic reasons and move to Austria and immigrate to the domestic social system,” said the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, criticizing the SPÖ’s irresponsible line illegal migration.

“The SPÖ’s plans for citizenship are also irresponsible. The SPÖ apparently cannot move quickly enough to give away Austrian citizenship to as many people as possible. Citizenship is at the end of a successful integration process and not at the beginning – under no circumstances will there be a departure from this basic principle with the People’s Party. The People’s Party is and remains a guarantor of security and citizenship with value – the SPÖ is a guarantee of making Austria Europe’s number one asylum magnet,” concluded Stocker.
