The list of new candidate emojis was published by Emojipedia, and the “talking to my hand” emoji is clearly our favorite.
A trembling face, colored hearts, ginger and a moose: July 13, Emojipedia unveiled a new list of emojis likely to be approved in September 2022. It is now a tradition: every year, new emojis are added to the Unicode standard. This year’s list, due out in September 2022, is the 15th edition, and Emojipedia has submitted, as it has now been for 8 years, emoji candidates.
It is these candidates who are represented below. And among the whole list, one in particular caught our attention: the emoji Talk to my hand.

The emojis above are not yet officially approved: each emoji is subject to change until final approval in September 2022, writes Emojipedia. It’s also not about their final appearance: the designs vary depending on the devices they are used on.
Nevertheless, as Emojipedia reminds us, the majority of candidate emojis presented by Emojipedia are approved each year, and appear on the final list. So there is a very strong chance that the Talking to my hand emoji will soon be available on your phones, and that is a very very very good news.
