Klagenfurt – Heavy thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and storms made around 400 operations by almost 120 fire brigades necessary in Carinthia on Saturday followingnoon. The city of Klagenfurt and the surrounding communities were hardest hit. There were numerous flooded cellars, fallen trees and storm damage, according to the state alarm and warning center (LAWZ) at the request of the APA on Saturday evening.
