Artist and politician Rieke Diah Pitaloka is on a spiritual journey at the age of 49.
The events he experienced brought him to a better direction. The actor Oneng in the Bajaj Bajuri sitcom has gone through many things in his life which eventually led him to this spiritual journey.
“How come it seems that those who are usually extravagant, selengean, enter at a moment where, ‘Okay, it seems I have to start a new life, more calmly, full of gratitude and stop worrying’,” said Rieke Diah Pitaloka when met in the Depok area, West Java, Tuesday (28/3/2023).
Not only active as a representative of the people, he also lives life as a single parent. It’s not easy going through these two things, but Rieke Diah Pitaloka tries to balance the two.
“Yes, there is anxiety. As a single mom with a job in politics which is also not easy, I have many things to think about,” he said Rieke Diah Pitaloka.
At the age of 49, Rieke Diah Pitaloka wanted to get closer to God.
“Life is short, what do we want? After all, positions are not taken away, houses are also not taken away, what is it for? That’s what I think then (as I was made aware of) while Allah still gave him a chance to live,” said Rieke Diah Pitaloka.
After going through this spiritual journey, Rieke Diah Pitaloka finally made many changes in her life.
Soon, Rieke Diah Pitaloka will also perform Umrah for the first time this Ramadhan.
