Stray promises to be the refreshing little game of the summer, the title of BlueTwelve et Annapurna Interactive will arrive next week on PlayStation 4, PS5 and PC and will feature an adorable cat wanting to go home, in a futuristic city. The title will therefore be released in two short days on online stores, but physical editions are planned.
The studios have partnered with iam8bit, Skybound Games et Just for Games to edit and distribute a standard physical edition of Stray on PlayStation 5, its release date is set for September 20. We find the game on a disc as well as six cards displaying artworksalready available for pre-order against €39.99 per Fnac.
In addition to that, iam8bit offers on its official store an exclusive edition of Stray with the game in a special sleeve and the illustrated cards, but also a caterpillar patch with the game logo and a poster displaying the first image you teaser. It is to be found against $44.99 on siteiam8bitbut you will have to wait until the fourth quarter of 2022 to get your hands on this edition premium.
iam8bit is also known for producing vinyl, and it offers Stray’s soundtrack composed by Yann Van Der Cruyssen on two 180g black discs, with packaging highlighting the sleeve created by Fernando Correra and a trunk with aluminum embellishments. A digital soundtrack download code (via Steam) is even included, count 41,99 $ chez iam8bitfor an expected shipment in the first quarter of 2023.
Finally, as Stray depicts a cat, Your Cat Backpack has designed a backpack to carry your feline in partnership with the studios. A model Fat Cat capable of accommodating an animal up to 11 kg (or anything else) with neon and charcoal colors inspired by the futuristic universe of the game. It’s up for pre-order chez Your Cat Backpackagainst 195 € all the same, but the partnership has the merit of being original!
Stray’s release date is set for July 19, 2022 in digital version on PC, PS4 and PS5. If you don’t plan to wait for the physical versions to arrive, you can reserve it using cards PSN prepaid on Amazon.
