Stray: the (excellent) notes from the English-speaking press

It was hard to know what to expect with Stray, first game of Montpellier BlueTwelve Studio. Boring life simulator with a playable cat, or inventive adventure in a futuristic world? We now have the answer with the first feedback from the specialized press.

Rejoice, Stray is a success for many! It currently displays a very good average of 84/100 on Metacritic thanks to the first notes of the journalists, all seduced by its technical qualities despite its independent approach. Its mixture of entertaining free exploration passages with clever puzzle and brainstorming sequences, using a gameplay often original, all tied up in a gripping universe and a captivating story, makes it a nugget to watch for all fans of independent productions. And if the lifetime of the experience is close to the 4-5 hours, it appears to be original in every way, so much that some would have liked to have more. Rare players criticize him on the other hand for his jack-of-all-trades, which would prevent him from offering more quality gaming systems.

Stray will be available this July 19 on PC via SteamPS4 and PS5, and will be included as soon as it launches in the subscription PlayStation Plus Extra at €13.99 per month or €99.99 per year.
