We now know the release date of Street Fighter. The new installment in the cult saga is scheduled for June 2, 2023, according to a small indiscretion from Sony teams on the PlayStation Store. This is slightly later than previously rumored, which should give Capcom time to tweak the final details.
2023 will be a very busy year for gamers. In addition to the highly anticipated big releases that are Starfield et Hogwart’s Legacy, to name a few, everyone should find their account. Are you more sci-fi action-RPG? Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to release on March 15. Are you more the type to face your friends with your bare hands? That’s good, the release date of Street Fighter 6 just got out.
Indeed, it appeared briefly on the PlayStation Store page dedicated to Capcom’s next title. Fight lovers therefore have an appointment on June 2, 2023 – if all goes well. The studio has not yet officially announced the launch of Street Fighter 56, it is still quite likely that a postponement will be decided internally. That being said, this date gives a good overview of Capcom’s schedule, which is about to open the second beta of the game.
Another 6 months to wait for Street Fighter 6
The latter will be open next week, from December 16 to 19 for a closed circle of players. Despite rumors that Street Fighter will be released in early 2023, the current progress in development leaves little room for doubt as to the chances of achieving this goal – namely, almost nil. Better to wait patiently for the arrival of spring, and official announcements from Capcom.

The PlayStation listing also announces three editions for the fighting game: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. The last two will give access to the first Season Pass for one year. Pricing, however, has yet to be revealed. As a reminder, Street Fighter 6 will be available PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. Cross-platform will be offered for all players.
