If there is one format that has marked the world of music and that of television, it is “MTV Unplugged”. First broadcast in 1989, the show in which artists perform accompanied only by acoustic instruments has seen Nirvana, Alicia Keys, Kiss, Jay-Z and, most recently, BTS.
Launched in 2021 in Switzerland with the Bernese group Patent Ochsner, the format is back in our country in 2023 and will for the first time in its history put a French-speaking artist in the spotlight in the person of Stress. The 45-year-old rapper, who celebrates his 20-year career and Select the album «Freedom» in 2022, will record the show on June 13 and 14 at the Schiffbau, Zurich, for broadcast in the fall. A Stress MTV Unplugged tour will follow in 2024.
Tickets to attend the recordings, during which Stress will receive several guests whose names are not yet known, will be available from April 3 at 10 a.m. on Ticketcorner.
