The authorities have stated that strong action will be taken against the companies that violate the lunch break rule in Kuwait. The committee in charge of health and safety at workplaces of the Public Authority of Manpower said that 10 cases were noticed during the inspection in Muthala, a residential area.

So far the committee has visited around 450 sites. The authorities also stated that notices have been issued to around 600 people who have violated the law.
