Studio Quantic Dream has promised to keep their style in Star Wars Eclipse. reedus

Quantic Dream’s CEO Guillaume de Fondomière said his team’s next game, Star Wars Eclipse, “will retain the foundations of the studio’s previous games.”

In conversation with journalists about the upcoming game, de Fondomière shared that while the studio is “trying to innovate” and “explore new territory” with each new game, Quantic Dream will always stick to its signature style.

The same promise was made for Star Wars Eclipse, which promises to give players “a very strong story, powerful characters and, of course, the ability to change the game’s story with their actions and decisions.” At least that’s what de Fondomière himself said.

In addition to these comments, the CEO also stated that Star Wars Eclipse is an action adventure, so we will see some change in the studio’s traditional formula: “The action elements will be very important, however we will continue to do what we do best, then have a passion for working and creating our game with great attention to detail.”

Recall that for the first time, Quantic Dream Studio announced Star Wars Eclipse at The Game Awards last year, and the game itself is dedicated to the era of the High Republic, a time when the Republic and the Jedi Order flourished.

However, in recent days, Quantic Dream has been on the buzz not because of its new project, but because of a powerful deal that has led to the fact that now the team belongs Chinese gaming corporation NetEase. In addition, the studio was recently at the center of a scandal due to complaints from some employees about an unhealthy culture.
