Figure skaters were harshly ridiculed in the humorous show “Once Upon a Time in Russia”, broadcast on TNT. TV presenters Ekaterina Vyalikova and Yana Koshkina directly called the athletes “tongue-tied and stupid.” According to TNT stars, their colleagues from Channel One are not able to connect even two words without a teleprompter.
They dubbed the champion of Russia “Alina Gitova does not take me for me”, and Shcherbakova – “Anna-Aleksey”. Of course, they have been criticized before, but this happened mainly on the sidelines. It was the first time such harsh statements were heard on the air. As for Zagitova, she previously made it clear that she does not pay attention to such criticism, living by the principle “the dog barks, the caravan moves on.”
“These are all jokes. The most important thing is not to listen to others. There is you, there is your attitude, there is a business that you live by and want to develop. We are all not perfect, everyone has something to work on. The main thing is to move forward, not to listen to anyone. And most importantly: I’m from Izhevsk.
