Ken Block is no more. The 55-year-old American pilot died on Tuesday, the victim of a snowmobile accident at a resort in Utah. The drifting legend, professional stuntman in the motorsport world for years, is gone.

Ken Block had made a name for himself with numerous stunts and demonstrations, notably at the wheel of rally cars. He was also a big fan of the legendary Pikes Peak event and went on to come to the rounds of the world rally championship, as a driver or as a guest. He loved trying experiments behind the wheel of supercharged vehicles, offering breathtaking videos.

“It is with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away today in a snowmobile accident. Ken was a visionary, pioneer and icon. Most importantly, a father and husband. He will be missed incredibly”, announces Hoonigans, one of Ken Block’s partners. The end of a myth.
