The Russian multirole fighter Su-35 is a desirable aircraft not only for Russia, but also for other leaders of totalitarian regimes, be it North Korea or the Islamic Republic of Iran.

And even despite the fact that Ukrainian air defense is already able to destroy these Russian aircraft, the Su-35 poses a serious threat to Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

What is the Su-35 intended for?

Su-35 designed to intercept and destroy all classes of air targets in long-range and close combat. It is also used to destroy ground and surface military targets, ground infrastructure and the like.

The Su-35 is a deep modernization of the Su-27 fighter. The new fighter combines super-maneuverability, advanced active and passive detection means, and high supersonic speed. Such aircraft are capable of long flights.

Previously, the Russian Armed Forces stated that the Russian fighter has no analogues, except perhaps the American fifth-generation aircraft F-22.

According to Russian media, the cost of the Su-35 fighter ranges from $98 million to $104 million.

The Su-35 can carry eight air-to-air guided missiles – R-27re, R-27te, R-77, as well as short-range and close-in missiles (R-73, R-73M, R-60M) and six guided missiles air-to-ground class S-25ld, X-29, X-59M, X-31A and P.
