The broken pump installation is removed and the gas pipeline is stabilized. Three cranes support the pump installation and the gas pipeline during the work, so that they do not subside further. The water board expects to complete this work tomorrow. After the weekend a decision will be made regarding what to do next.
A2 partly closed
The problems with the gas pipeline arose at the end of the morning yesterday. The pipe was shut off and the gas still in it was flared. Due to the safety risk, roads in the area, including the A2 and the N2, were partly closed until the evening.
