Summer programs enhance students’ skills in Sharjah

A number of authorities in Sharjah have launched various summer programs with the aim of using the time during the summer vacation in a proper manner for children and students of schools and universities, refining their skills, providing them with various experiences that contribute to building their personality, and investing in the summer in the best and most beneficial ways.
The Sharjah Human Resources Department has started receiving applications for registration in the summer training program for male and female citizens who continue to study in universities or colleges, and school students from the tenth to twelfth grade in educational institutions, who wish to join the summer training program for the year 2022 in government departments and bodies affiliated with the Emirate of Sharjah. The summer training period extends for 4 consecutive weeks, starting from July 18, in order to provide them with skills and practical experience during the summer period and to qualify them to meet the needs of the labor market.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and head of the Human Resources Department, confirmed that the department annually organizes the summer training program for students within the framework of its social responsibility, and within a comprehensive plan aimed at investing the students’ leisure time during the summer vacation, for the benefit of them and everyone. Through the formation of citizen cadres equipped with skills and knowledge in the future, and the ability to enter the labor market in its various fields with ease, armed with science and practical experience.

Together for a better summer
For the fifth year in a row, the Environment and Natural Reserves Authority in Sharjah organizes the “Together for a More Beautiful Summer” program, and adds to it every year what makes it a special value in the summer, thanks to the practical plan and strategic partners, and their vital role, as the authority works to achieve a package of goals in this The program, most notably focusing on the environmental aspect in terms of preserving biodiversity and sustainable behavior, promoting teamwork behavior, teamwork, and providing an educational environment that motivates students to reach the creative output at the end of the program.
Participating students receive several benefits, especially in terms of familiarity with and benefiting from awareness lectures aimed at the summer program, and participation in scientific, creative and innovative workshops, as the authority pays great attention to environmental efforts and awareness activities that enhance and develop the capabilities and talents of students, and therefore the summer activities program was targeted with the aim of Investing the talents and energies of students, and encouraging them to use their time for the benefit. The program is usually full of diverse and attractive activities, in addition to several field visits, workshops, exploration tours, and attendance of various educational and awareness lectures.

4 camps
Sharjah Ladies Club, with its headquarters and ten branches in the eastern and central regions, offers four summer camps, through which it aims to develop children’s skills through a wide range of diverse activities and programs in accordance with the highest safety standards and precautionary controls. Activities are held in the morning and evening during the period from July 3 to August 25 next.
The activities are classified according to different age groups and stages, and target children, girls and adolescents from 4 to 14 years old, and boys from 4 to 8 years old. The four programs include a variety of fitness activities such as water games such as water basketball, swimming, ice skating, manual workshops for recycled materials, origami art, and candle printing, in addition to courses on cooking, preparing ice cream, and decorating cupcakes, in addition to making kites and installing robots. Ballet, music and drama classes.
From July 3 to August 25, the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex is organizing the 2022 Summer Innovation Camp for school students in its second season. During their summer vacation with a summer camp that allows the participants to explore fun technical skills.
