Sunak realizes that Labor can win the election: – Standing at a crossroads

– I am clear-sighted enough to admit it, maybe they will manage to depress themselves until victory, Rishi Sunak told a right-wing think tank on Monday.

Shortly after the announcement, the Prime Minister emphasized that he did not think it would happen, because he sees Britain as a nation of optimists.

Labor has been out of the government premises since 2010, but there are many indications that Keir Starmer’s party will be able to fight for power again.

Sunak’s party is far behind in several opinion polls, and he cannot wait any longer than January next year to hold new elections.

– Our country is at a crossroads. I am convinced that the next few years will be some of the most dangerous, but also the most transformative our country has ever seen, says Sunak.

The Prime Minister made repeated attacks on opposition leader Starmer, among other things he claimed that Britain will become a less safe country under Starmer’s leadership.

Starmer responded that security would be the number one priority for a Labor government. He also added that the election will be between a changed Labor party that puts the country first and the party second, and the chaos and division of the Conservatives.
