Complying with the statutes, the electoral committee chaired by Mrs. Karim Rojas was formed, the regulations and schedule for the electoral process in the Single Union of Artisanal Fishermen and Civil Divers of the Port of Ilo (SUPABCPI) were approved.
Mr. Jaime Bojorges, general secretary of SUPABCPI, indicated that the board of directors will be renewed and that, in his management, despite the pandemic, he managed to carry out diving projects and training, among others.
ARTISANAL FISHING LANDING WORK
He clarified that Fondepes will be accompanying during the white work, which is the last stage of the construction.
“I attended several meetings and Fondepes indicated that they will follow up. It is not true that they will deliver the work carried out in the Artisanal Fishing Landing (DPA), just as it is and they will leave, but they will be pending and if there are failures they will repair it, for this they have to use all the equipment ”, he asserted .
Bojorges, pointed out that they are waiting for the technical team that would form the Regional Government to evaluate the equipment, but the days go by and it has not yet materialized, harming the fishermen because the DPA does not work 100%.
Finally, he asked that it be reported why so much money has been invested in the work that its construction lasted many years, waiting for the Comptroller’s Office and the congressmen for Moquegua to rule.
