  • The Superbowl takes place in Glendale, Arizona, on Monday night.

  • The brothers Travis (Kansas City) and Jason Kelce (Philadelphia) meet.

  • Before the big game, mother Donna surprised her two sons.

A year ago, Donna Kelce traveled half the world for her two sons. Because both Jason Kelce (35) and brother Travis (33) played with their teams in the NFL playoffs on the same day, she traveled within a few hours from game to game around 2000 kilometers through the USA.

Next Sunday Donna Kelce will find it much easier to support her two sons in the stadium. In the final of Superbowl LVII, there is a duel between two brothers for the first time ever: tight end Travis Kelce with the Kansas City Chiefs meets the Philadelphia Eagles with center Jason Kelce.

“I don’t care who wins”

Before the big game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, everything revolves around the Kelce Bowl. In addition to Jason and Travis, Mama Donna is also a sought-after interview partner. “GQ” wanted to know from the pensioner which son she was keeping her fingers crossed for during the Super Bowl. “I don’t care who wins. I’ll stand the whole game because I’ll cheer for whoever has the ball.”

Travis and Jason Kelce can also count on their mother for the remaining days until the big game. As part of a media day, the two NFL professionals gave an interview this week and were surprised by Donna. She provided her two sons with a fresh storage box full of homemade chocolate cookies.

So far, both Kelce brothers have already won the Superbowl once. In 2018 Jason triumphed with the Eagles, two years later Travis was able to lift the Vince Lombardy Trophy with the Chiefs. One of the two will secure title number two on Monday night (from 0.30 a.m. Swiss time).
