“I have longed for it. Especially seeing the roles played by Chakochan. There is pain in the song ‘Yatra Yarai Suryankuram’ in the song. Narendran did another version of it yesterday. But my character is a bit more mature character. Suryaputri was the one that I could do that had at least a little shade of Chakochan’s roles. Suryaputri is a film that freaked me out and I wish I could have let loose a bit more. Amala was my crush,” says Suresh Gopi.
Suresh Gopi was speaking in an interview related to the promotion of the film Pappan.
After a gap of seven years, Pappan is the film where Suresh Gopi and director Joshi came together. Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh also acted in Pappan. This is the first time that both of them will come together on screen. This is also the 252nd film of Suresh Gopi’s career.
