The removed controller can also be used as a wireless controller by combining it with the optional wireless joystick connector. A dedicated cover keyboard is also available.

The display uses an 8.4-inch 2,560 x 1,600-dot touch-enabled liquid crystal panel, and supports 4,096-step pen input with the Surface Pen.
