It was a beautiful evening for FC Twente fans. The club drew 1-1 against Manchester United. And most people didn’t expect that.
In the first half, Manchester United took the lead through a goal from Eriksen. But in the second half Twente did better and better. And in the end we even managed to score!

Eriksen wasn’t paying attention for a moment, and Sam Lammers was able to score a goal. About 4,000 Twente fans traveled to England for the match and they went crazy. It doesn’t happen often that a Dutch club wins or draws against a club from the Premier League.
Goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall was able to stop an important ball in the last minute. He was very satisfied afterwards.
We really showed courage. We didn’t just walk backwards, we really played football.
