Swaris: We did not win championships, but we gave everything to Al-Ahly

The Portuguese Ricardo Soares, the former coach of Al-Ahly Club, published a farewell message to the team after his recent departure from the club.

Al-Ahly club, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, announced the departure of Suarez, from the leadership of the Red Team, after taking charge in the middle of the current season.

And Swaric wrote through his personal account on “Instagram”: “It was a great pride that I represented the largest club in Africa, the Century Club, one of the most famous clubs in the world, Al-Ahly.”

He added: “The work we have done in such an intense, dedicated and emotional way, and in such a short time, leaves everyone without exception with the feeling that they have done their duty. He works at the club, from all departments, they have devoted themselves and come together and contributed to that, despite all the obstacles, we honored the jersey, thank you all.”

He continued: “Success is also the family made up of all the real men who made up the team, from the most experienced to the youngest of the great men who had the pleasure of working with them, to everyone but especially to the many youngsters whom I had the pleasure of launching in various matches, I want to leave a word of courage and confidence. Because what they did in the training sessions and what they did in the matches reveals how great professionals they are, and Al-Ahly should be happy to have such a strong group of men.”

He continued, “We did not win championships, but we won titles of respect, professionalism and recognition that we gave everything for Al-Ahly.”

And the former Al-Ahly coach concluded: “I wish you all the best and I hope to see you one day.”
