Developed by SnowDropEscape, Swelter is a mod for Half-Life 2 which takes place several years before the story of the game. This is an unofficial scenario, the plot of which will tell you regarding the ideological split between the former allies. Each faction in the game has its own take on the fight once morest invaders, its own strengths and weaknesses.
The team promises us a classic shooter experience just like the original game, puzzles, driving, and freedom to explore for a two-hour lifespan.
This mod will be free, and will be released on June 26, 2023. It already has its page Steam, if you ever want to add it to your wish list. As stated on the page, you won’t be able to play it if you don’t own Half-Life 2.
