24 countries will play the Women’s Euro on Tuesday. The preliminary round will take place in Italy, Germany, Estonia and Belgium. The Swiss will play in Monza and Turin, where they will aim for a difficult qualification for the round of 16.
Switzerland owes its presence at the tournament to the exclusion of Russia and its ranking as the best 3rd in the qualifying groups. This will be the third consecutive participation for the Swiss.
