Sydney Sweeney seems to have taken over the movie world lately. Her rom-com with Glen Powell, Anyone But You, was a smash hit, and she’s next seen in the horror film Immaculate. However, Sweeney has not only made hits, but had a major flop with the Marvel film Madame Web. One of the lowest rated and lowest grossing blockbusters in a long time.
Sydney Sweeney himself, however, does not seem to care one bit regarding this, but speaks up LA Times: “I was just hired as an actress in it, so I was just along for the ride for whatever was going to happen.”
Incidentally, Sweeney joked regarding the flop in her acclaimed SNL appearance last week, while lead star Dakota Johnson, on the other hand, seems to have taken the flop more personally.
Well on her way to becoming one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood.
