Sydney ∙ Malaysia Airlines flight turned back following passenger threatened. Police arrested the passenger (45) who threatened to blow up the plane. The flight departed from Sydney, Australia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with 199 passengers and 12 crew members and returned following 3 hours of flight. Passengers were evacuated immediately.

Due to this, 32 domestic flight services were canceled and some other services were delayed. A video of a man threatening fellow passengers and flight crew was circulated on social media. However, when his bag was checked, nothing suspicious was found.
