T-Pain is launching a new polyamorous dating series titled Searching For a Third, which will premiere on YouTube this Wednesday, November 11, at 8pm ET. Created and executive produced by the singer, the Nappy Boy Network original series follows a couple as they look for a third person to join their relationship.
A new Nappy Boy Network original
The singer will serve as the host for the series, which he announced via an Instagram trailer shared on Thursday, Nov. 5. Searching For a Third focuses on the polyamory journey of T-Pain’s longtime DJ, DJ Montay, and Shonte Renee.
“I’m proud to announce the first ever @nappyboynetwork original series, Searching For A Third,” T-Pain wrote. “What happens when my good friends @djmontay and @iamshonterenee open up their relationship with room for one more? This is their polyamory journey and all the crazy twists and turns that go along with it!”
Relationship dynamics
Utilizing a traditional dating show format, the series features a group of women interested in joining the existing couple. The show will document how the couple manages first dates, chemistry, and jealousy, and the compromises required when adding a new person to an established dynamic. The participants will face the challenges of determining if a candidate is the right fit for both partners.
New episodes stream weekly on YouTube starting November 11
New episodes of the series will stream weekly on YouTube every Wednesday at 8pm ET following the November 11 premiere. Following the traditional dating competition format, the season is scheduled to conclude with a two-part reunion special early next year.
