The event will focus on understanding and addressing the challenges arising from hate speech, examining how it affects the psychology of those who experience it. Researchers, representatives of civil society organizations and journalists will participate in the discussion, giving their own perspective on the issue.
In this context, the discussion will focus on:
-in relevant case studies/cases of hate speech and in the way they are portrayed in the media
-in a special reference to hate speech in the Media, the internet and in Social Networking Media and in a discussion about the causes and also the role of citizens, when they are faced with incidents of hate speech
– the responsibility and role of journalism in the management of similar incidents.
