Roche Healthcare Inc said on Wednesday it is developing three test kits to detect monkeypox.
It comes following the detection of cases of the disease in many countries around the world, especially Europe and North America, two regions where the virus is not usually endemic.
Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium announced cases of the disease. The United States, Canada and Australia also announced the monitoring of injuries.
Meanwhile, the manufacturer of the monkeypox vaccine “Evanix” ruled out a shortage of vaccines, with cases of the disease detected in several countries around the world.
In statements to dpa, Rolf Sass Sorensen, spokesman for the Danish-German company Bavarian Nordic, said today, Wednesday, “We believe that we can meet global demand without investing more in our production facilities.”

The Ministry of Health and Population has published new information on the way monkeypox spreads.
The increasing spread of monkeypox in a number of countries has raised widespread concern following it reached Europe and the Middle East, at a time when scientists are focusing their efforts to reveal all information related to the virus, to facilitate the process of confronting it.
In an awareness leaflet, the ministry said that monkeypox is spreading through:
Physical contact with someone who has symptoms
Touching objects contaminated with the virus (bedding, towels, clothes, etc.)
Through saliva and respiratory droplets
The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that it is closely following the epidemiological situation in the world of the monkeypox virus and other epidemic diseases, and that there are no cases of infection or suspected of being infected with monkeypox virus in Egypt so far.
Monkey flu: three-week quarantine in the UK; Smallpox vaccine claims to be effective | UK
Extreme caution in Europe in case of smallpox outbreak. The disease has been confirmed in 126 people worldwide. The UK has recommended a 21-day ban on contact with patients.
The disease has been confirmed in 27 people in the Spanish capital, Madrid, and in 56 in the UK. Fourteen were infected in Portugal and three in the United States. The first case was reported in Scotland and Denmark. Experts warn that although the virus transmitted from monkeys is not widespread in humans, it can be transmitted through close contact, such as sexual contact.
The vaccine, which was used to treat smallpox, is currently being used to treat smallpox. It is 85% effective. Dr Susan Hopkins, a UK health care agency consultant, said that although not all people are vaccinated, patients and those in contact will be vaccinated if their lives are in danger.
Monkey pox was first reported in the Congo in 1960. Symptoms include fever, headache, and chickenpox-like rash. Doctors say those who have been in indirect contact with patients should not be concerned.
U.S. President Joe Biden has said in Tokyo that although the disease is alarming, a situation like Kovid’s 19 does not exist. Measures such as a strict ban are not currently intended. The UK has issued a health warning regarding the spread of the disease among homosexuals.
Maharashtra and Karnataka have been placed on high alert in the wake of rising monkey fever in foreign countries. Passengers arriving at the Bangalore airport with symptoms of monkey pox will be screened separately. Hospitals were instructed to closely monitor the symptoms of those arriving from abroad within 21 days.
