The Head of the Execution Department in Beirut, Judge Gabi Shaheen, issued a decision placing a precautionary seizure on the in-kind funds belonging to each of the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, his brother Raja Salameh, and his assistant, Marianne Howayek, in Lebanon.
The decision was implemented on part of this property pending the completion of its implementation on the remaining part.
The state, represented by the head of the Cases Authority at the Ministry of Justice, Judge Helena Iskandar, the plaintiff in the file of the two brothers, Salama and Al-Huwaik, requested that the precautionary seizure be placed on these properties, and the Execution Department approved her request.
The precautionary seizure of this property comes to preserve the state’s right in the event that a judgment is issued convicting the three defendants, and in the event of acquittal, the seizure of this property will be lifted.

Exclusive translation: A JetBlue Airways flight attendant stunned the passengers on a flight from Newark, New Jersey to Tampa, Florida, by presenting safety features, in an exaggerated way.
A video clip, published by the Daily Mail, showed flight attendant Peter Echevarria giving safety demonstrations before take-off using choreographed dance moves.
The video shows Echevarria pulling a yellow life jacket over his head before securing it dramatically, then pulling it down to inflate it, pointing to the whistle feature and making a face to tell passengers he won’t use it.
Echevarria’s way of presenting the safety demonstration amazed the passengers, who took videos of him and posted them on social media, expressing their admiration for his way of attracting their attention.

The European investigators will arrive in Beirut today, on their second visit within the framework of the investigation, and they will be allowed to attend the interrogation session, according to what a judicial source and another well-informed source told Archyde.com. The judicial source stressed that the Lebanese judge presiding over the session would not allow foreign investigators to direct questions to Salameh during the session that is scheduled to take place next Wednesday.
