Tahbir Award for the Holy Qur’an: Winners Announcement and Closing Ceremony Details

The Supreme Committee for the Tahbir Award for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, in its tenth session, announced that the deadline for receiving participants’ applications has ended at the end of the tenth day of the holy month of Ramadan, and the winners in all categories of the award will be announced within days, at a ceremony held for this purpose, under the patronage of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif. Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior.

Participation requests

Dr. Ahmed Subaan Al-Taniji, Director General of the Award, and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, explained that requests to participate in the Award’s categories were received from all nationalities around the world. They participated in its 4 announced categories, which are the Most Beautiful Tartil Competition, the Oratory Competition, and new to this session is the Most Beautiful Adhan Competition. And the cultural competition “Sustainable Giving – 52 Questions,” which included many branches that suit different groups and ages of males and females, locally and internationally.

He said that the auditing and arbitration teams have worked since the first day to sort and evaluate the applications and judge them first-hand, as they witness competition in the spirit of brotherhood, love and humanity in a way that achieves the goals of this award, which is an intellectual, cognitive and humanitarian meeting to devote the spirit of tolerance and coexistence between peoples and civilizations, and to consolidate a sound understanding of the Holy Qur’an. Instilling the spirit of research and knowledge, and encouraging creativity, talent, and fair competition among the contestants.
