Actor Tang Wei and director Kim Tae-yong’s husband and wife suddenly became engulfed in rumors of separation and divorce.
On the 10th, China’s Sina Entertainment reported that “Rumors have spread that Tang Wei and director Kim Tae-yong have been separated for more than six months.”
The media said, “Tang Wei attended many events in Beijing while staying in China with her daughter last year, and did not return to Korea. is also reported.”
Afterwards, a Hong Kong media confirmed it directly to Tang Wei’s agency, and the agency explained, “The divorce rumors are not true. Tang Wei and director Kim Tae-yong are living very happily.”
However, the media reported that the agency did not respond to the question of why Tang Wei’s mother and daughter moved to China. Many Chinese-speaking media report that “every couple has their own pattern” and view the discord as an unfounded rumor.
Meanwhile, Tang Wei and director Kim Tae-yong developed a relationship through the movie ‘Late Autumn’ (2010) and became lovers. She got married in July 2014 and had a child after two years.
Tang Wei appeared in ‘Wonderland’, a new film directed by Kim Tae-yong. The work, which is being prepared for release within this year, is currently in the process of post-production. She is also expected to appear in Tang Wei and Park Chan-wook’s film ‘Decision to break up’.
