Kansas City won the Super Bowl for the second time in a row tonight (between first and second) and became the first team to win back-to-back since 2005. The Chiefs beat San Francisco after overtime with 22:25, and Patrick Mahomes once again starred on the way to the title.
Taylor Swift will be celebrating tonight with Kansas fans everywhere. Her partner Travis Kelcey won along with the chips and the famous singer came to celebrate with her partner, including a long kiss on the field. After quite a bit of speculation as to whether Swift would come from Tokyo to Las Vegas, the singer arrived at the stadium about two hours before the game.
After winning at the end of one of the most watched sporting events in the world, the Kansas players will receive a particularly fat bonus of $164,000 each. On the losing side, the players will receive about $89,000 each. The amounts represent an improvement of about seven million dollars compared to the previous Super Bowl.
Mahomes celebrates (Reuters)
In the Super Bowl as in the Super Bowl, one of the most talked about topics was the halftime show. Asher recorded a particularly colorful show with many dancers and sang his best hits from the beginning of the millennium, including a joint performance with Keys for the song My Boo.
Patrick Mahomes won his third Super Bowl and was named Finals MVP for the third time. Very few players have won the title three times, before him Joe Montana and Tom Brady did it, with Mahomes the first to do it twice in a row.
Tom Brady is still considered by many to be the greatest ever, but Mahomes has taken a significant step toward getting there. In ‘ESPN’, for example, they claimed: “This was Mahomes’ worst team and it won the Super Bowl the hardest way possible.”

In ‘Athletic’ they were impressed: “Dynasty of Kansas City. A big comeback led by Mahomas with another legendary game. It was perhaps the Chiefs’ most difficult season, but the background noise didn’t bother them and Patrick did what he does best.”
Mahomes said after the game: “I’m proud of my God, it’s legendary. We brought it at the right time, our coach is a legend. We fought this year and it’s a very special moment. This is the beginning of a dynasty, we are not done. I know we will celebrate, but we are not done, we will try to continue with it.”
