In an interview with IGN, Sony confirmed that Team Ninja’s game will not be released in South Korea, but denied reports that the game’s release in the country has been cancelled. According to representatives of the corporation, the original plans did not even include that Rise of the Ronin would appear in Korea.
“Rise of the Ronin for PlayStation 5 was never officially announced in Korea. We can confirm that the game will not be sold or published in South Korea in any form, physical or digital.”
