► One of the crimes happened on December 26, 2023. Frank S. (14, name changed) arrived in Heide (Schleswig-Holstein) by train at around 6 p.m. Ten young people intercepted him at the train station. “I was immediately hit and kicked for no reason,” said the student: the 14-year-old was also there.

Frank had the courage to report his tormentors to the police. But the fear remained. Not without reason:
► At the beginning of February 2024, his mother and he were attacked again by the youth gang at the train station.
Also there: the 14-year-old. A mass brawl broke out. Bundeswehr soldiers who wanted to go to the barracks and a railway employee had to mediate. But the situation only became calmer when the police arrived.

Blackmail on the train
► The highlight was a train ride on March 1, 2024. Beating victim Frank: “The girl suddenly appeared with two friends. She threatened that she would finish me if I didn’t withdraw the complaint.” Shocked, he told his mother everything. The police were called in again.
The attack on Frank – not an isolated incident. The police were investigating several members of the gang for further attacks on school children and robberies. Consequence: four teenage thugs are already in custody. Including the 14-year-old.

Several acquaintances of the alleged ringleader of the thug gang called for her release on the Internet. But they fear many victims in Heide. “At the moment the gang is not doing anything anymore. They’re afraid of going to jail. But if they come back to the streets, the violence here will escalate again,” said a student to BILD.
