Twitch streamer AvoidingThePuddle tweeted a photo of what appears to be a promotion for the game. The package contains a t-shirt with the Tekken 8logo and a message indicating the game will be featured at the Game Awards. The message simply reads, “tune into The Game Awards Livestream” and includes a link to the Game Awards Twitch channel and a reminder of the December 8th date.
The fighting game was in September during a PlayStation State of Play live stream officially announced. The reveal video showed gameplay footage of Jin fighting Kazuya on the side of a volcano, which Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada pointed out was happening in real time. “We are very excited to show the next generation of Tekken”Harada said at the time. “The Bandai Namco Studios team has been hard at work developing groundbreaking new features for Tekken 8 and continually advancing the sense of power in battle by harnessing the power of the latest generation of consoles. We can’t wait to show you more in the coming months.”
