A view of religious harmony from Venjarammoodu during the holy month. Venkamala Bhagwati Temple officials hosted an Iftar dinner for the devotees on the twentieth day of Lent at the Maruthumootu Masjid.

For the last twelve years, Nompthura Venkamala Temple in the Masjid has been conducting the fast for twenty days. Venkamala Bhagavathy Temple in Maruthumootty is one of the famous temples of South Kerala.
