At the start of 2024, Maison Louis Vuitton unveils a wardrobe trunk for its tennis ambassador Carlos Alcaraz.

On the sidelines of the 2024 Australian Open, of which it has been a partner since this edition, Louis Vuitton is featuring the Spanish tennis player with beautiful images showing his locker room trunk. A product available for sale to the general (wealthy) public at a price of €150,000.

In Alcaraz’s wardrobe, we find a cup that he won when he was 10 years old, the outfit from his equipment supplier Nike worn during his coronation at Wimbledon as well as a racket from his equipment supplier Babolat or even a Nike Air Force One x Louis Vuitton sneakers.

“The trunk brings together precious memories, in particular my two Grand Slam titles. I am extremely proud of what we have been able to achieve together through this collaboration” explain Carlos Alcaraz.

This Louis Vuitton locker room trunk obviously contains some pieces from the brand such as a sac Speedy P9 bleu which we find in the new collection designed by Pharrell Williams and embodied in particular by LeBron James. A bag, the largest model of which is on sale for €10,000.

Louis Vuitton personalized Carlos Alcaraz’s locker room trunk with a few details such as the player’s initials (CA), “Since 2003” (in reference to his year of birth, or a silhouette and a “Louis Vuitton – Murcia” crest.

It remains to be seen whether Louis Vuitton, new partner of the Australian Open since this edition (trophy trunks), has brought the Spaniard’s locker trunk to Melbourne to mark the occasion… On the courts, Carlos Alcaraz should according to in all likelihood make his entrance with a Louis Vuitton bag.
