Tennis world rankings: the top spot remains Spain

Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz remains at the top of the ATP rankings, with compatriot Rafael Nadal in second place.

The Russian Andrey Rublev moved up the rankings to become the eighth ranked world number one.

In the classification released on Monday, Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime became tenth.

The ranking also saw American Taylor Fritz drop one place, to become the ninth ranked world.

With the exception of Rublev, Fritz and Oger-Aliassime, the top ten list did not witness other changes, as the Norwegian Casper Ruud remained third, the Russian Daniil Medvedev fourth, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas fifth, the German Alexander Zverev sixth and the Serbian Novak Djokovic seventh.
