After a forced break, Teresa Stadlober finished eighth over 30 km.
She feared and doubted, but in the end cross-country skier Teresa Stadlober was still beaming at the Nordic World Championships in Planica: following the 30-year-old had left in the meantime to recover from her cold at home in Radstadt, her comeback at the World Championships was absolutely remarkable . Stadlober took eighth place in the final women’s competition over 30 km classic on Saturday. The gap to the new world champion Ebba Andersson was 2:29.5 minutes. Silver went to the Norwegian Anne Kjersti Kalvå, bronze to the Swede Frida Karlsson.
