A video clip showed a state of terror and panic at Ben Gurion Airport, which is located in Tel Aviv, following the fall of rockets fired by the Palestinian resistance on areas near the airport.
The clip included scenes of extreme panic and confusion among the ranks of passengers, as dozens of people rushed towards the entrances and exits, in light of calls to go to the fortified rooms designated for such cases.
According to the Al Jazeera Net correspondent, it is expected that air traffic has completely stopped following the fall of rocket shells in the vicinity of the airport.
Several airlines had canceled dozens of flights to Tel Aviv on Saturday and Sunday in the wake of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” military attack launched by the Palestinian resistance on Israel, while the Federal Aviation Administration called on American airlines to be cautious.
In turn, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they bombed Tel Aviv and Jerusalem with missiles, in response to Israel’s bombing of residential homes in the Gaza Strip, while sirens sounded in the two cities, and columns of smoke were seen rising from areas adjacent to Ben Gurion Airport.
