Terrorist attack on the concert hall in the Russian capital, 60 people were killed, more than 115 were injured

At least 60 people have been killed and more than 115 injured in a Paris Bataklan theater-style terrorist attack in the suburbs of Moscow, the capital of Russia.

According to Russian media, around 8:00 p.m. local time, three terrorists entered the Caracas city hall full of people and started firing indiscriminately and threw bombs. They were buried under, the concert hall building also caught fire due to the explosion.

Hundreds of people were trapped inside the fire after the terrorists threw the bomb, while the building was also severely damaged by the fire, more than 100 trapped people were safely taken out by the rescue personnel and at the scene of the incident. Further relief operations are underway.

According to officials, before the concert started, when the whole hall was full of people, three terrorists entered the city hall firing indiscriminately with machine guns. According to the Russian authorities, 60 of the 115 people injured in the incident are in critical condition, while the three attackers allegedly fled in a white car.

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has made it clear that blood will be avenged by blood, and that death will be death.

Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that whoever is involved in this terrorism, the United Nations, its Secretariat, the Secretary General and all member states must condemn this bloody terrorism unconditionally.

Zakharova said that the statement of the UN Secretary General’s office only expressing regret over the shooting incident has raised many questions.

He also expressed concern over the US response to Ukraine’s non-involvement in terrorism and said that while the tragedy was unfolding, on what basis did Washington conclude that someone else was involved.
