“Tg1? Outraged millions of Italians, apologize” –

Federico Mollicone lashes out against Antonio Scurati. The president of the Culture and Publishing Commission of the Chamber and National Head of Culture and Innovation of Fratelli d’Italia, Federico Mollicone, on the occasion of the ‘Roots of Europe’ meeting in Pescara for the programmatic conference of the party led by Giorgia Meloni, aimed the finger on the writer, who had targeted Tg1: “The passage in today’s interview with Scurati on La Repubblica on the criticism of Tg1 and its viewers is unacceptable. The accusation of ‘contempt towards institutions’ cited by the writer does not appear to have been made by any journalist of the newspaper, as he also said and acknowledged. Scurati also apologizes to the millions of Italians whom he has outraged by defining them as elderly and poorly educated people.”

Sensational blunder by Scurati. The accusation invented on Tg1 and the immediate reverse

“Left-wing intellectuals – continues the deputy – are increasingly entrenched in their ivory tower so they are all ignorant if they don’t follow their diktats. We hope that Repubblica in tomorrow’s newspaper will also apologize to the editorial staff and to the entire news audience. We, against all elitism, will always be on the side of the Italian and European people.”

Solid system, the EU also debunks the left's theorems on Rai and Scurati

The passage cited by Mollicone and relating to Tg1 viewers is contained in an interview that Scurati gave to a Polish newspaper, ‘Wyborcza.pl’, in which the writer states: “I’ll give the most recent example of Tg1, the news more seen in Italy, especially by elderly people, with little education and therefore with little critical sense. A few days ago, the host of this program demanded that I be charged with contempt of a state institution. He imagines: millions of people who had never heard my name before are told that they are dealing with a criminal.

Great writer of this..., Del Debbio without brakes: the response to Scurati
